"The Summative Test"



Pembelajaran (Penilaian) Hari ini - 20 September 2023

Setelah sekian lama prezist sekalia- eh harus make Bahasa Inggris ya, ok ok

Ehehem-

After all those days, brothers and sisters, ladies and gentleman, and my honored and humble Prezist. I am now, or shall i say my class are now at The Summative Test of the first semester. It is Wednesday, the 20th of September 2023, and the first subject of the day, is the one we all know and love (if you do). The English lesson is the first subject of the day. For today, the assignment is:

- Make a video containing the answers to the 10 selected questions that were done yesterday -

I know some of you have a ton of questions in mind, and these are some of them:

So what's up with yesterday's assignment? How about that time? 

Well as we all know, my school's English Lesson are on monday and wednesday. 

But a summative test only need 1 day or 2 assignment hour per subject right? Why do it twice this time? 

Don't ask me now, ask the Indonesian Ministry of Education and the Current Indonesian Curriculum. I'm just your regular and humble High Schooler, i'm just following the orders.

If that's so, what did me and my class do yesteday?

So as you all have guessed, me and my class did the exam last monday, and out of 20 questions, only 10 selected by the teachers that must be included in the video. Each student have different list of selected question. Some lucky ones can have a very easy and simple answered questions, where as some unlucky ones can have a very tricky and complex questions. As for me? Let's just say it's balanced.

Now, how do we do the assignments? What should we do for the video? 

You all know that one video from youtube where a person do some kind of Q&A or a podcast with themself right? That's the video format! Either you make somekind of Q&A or just imagining yourself talking to someone else, even though there's no one and you just talking to a blank wall or straight up air. But, i came out unfazed and full of determination, because i already prepared some different clothes and properties to make it look more legit. 

I do the "Talking to yourself" rather than the Q&A one, because i tought that one is a little bit lazy and uncreative.

Then, what provisions and rules must be met?

- The video must be below or around 5 minutes long, no more than that. 

- Each student based on the order of absent number, have a different location to record the video, the location is still somewhere around our school though. 

- The video format is like i said before, QnA format or "Talking to yourself" format

- We only given 1 assignment hour to record the video, after thar we edit the whole thing, upload it to drive or your socal media.

- When the video is finished, make a blog about the test and link the video to the blog, the deadline of the assignment is today at 7 pm.

9. What is descriptive text?

11. How do you like about Semarang? (3 Sentences)

12. How do you compare between Semarang and Jakarta? (3 Sentences)

13. What is Recount Text?

18. Suppose you are in a place of a burning building, what things will you say?

19. What is Procedure Text?

Where are the answers? Well where do you guys think? Of course in the video! If i show them right here, then there's no point to watch my hardworked and beautiful video right?

And that was it for my Summative Text Experience, i guess. Thank you very much for tuning in!  Hope you guys and my loyal Prezist have a good time and a lovely day. Last note though, i might be no longer upload any more blog at this point, since i made this blog entirely because of school assignment. But i don't know, we'll see about that.

The Hidden Trashure - Description Text about a polluted Water Drainage

The Hidden Trashure Identification : Tucked on the side of some places neatly. Usually found in a neighborhood or on the side of the road generally. It served a purpose to divert unwanted water to more proper areas. But this long and narrow water drain is hidden on the side of a school court. Seem to bear a different purpose for some people around it, a worse one that is. Description 1 : This poor water drain is collecting a bunch of plastic and organic wastes, unfortunately. It did its main purpose is collecting unwanted water around the court. But it seems to have an additional one provided by the students. That is apparently collecting dirty plastic trash left after they eat a snack. Those rascals preferred to dump it into a nearby trash bin. Description 2 : Organic waste is also littered in that claustrophobic channel. It may do less damage than the plastic ones. But still, it's not the intended purpose of water drainage. Time for a Break! - Description Text about School Cafeteria

 Time for a Break! Identification : When the bells were ringing, the whole school activities came to a halt. The students are going to the same place in mind joyfully. Buying food and beverages to remove their exhaustion. That is the student's time for a break. Description 1 : That is the cafeteria of a high school called SMK Negeri 4 Semarang. Students mostly dressed in red and black uniforms are buying some consumables. Buying things such as snacks, drinks, and meals to replenish their energy. The perfect place to relax their mind and chat among them. Description 2 : The place itself is somewhere in the middle part of the school. The building on the left is the teacher's room. Four food courts of the cafeteria are placed on the right. Each of them is owned by several acquaintances and even a teacher himself.
